Summary:
This position is responsible for greeting all customers in the showroom, assisting customers with any orders or services, taking payments from customers, and stocking all inventory within the showroom.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assist customers at the counter and over the phone with their roofing, flooring, and building material needs.
Entering sales orders and cash transactions into the company database Stock showroom with any material missing; update showroom with any new products.
Placing purchase orders for special orders Estimate material and jobs for customers.
Drives sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Educate themselves on all products and services the RWC offers to the public.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Sales and customer service experience in building supply distribution a plus Proficient with MS Office, Internet, and software programs Roofing background preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Must pass a mandatory background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Ability to work under pressure.
Detail and deadline-oriented Must possess excellent customer service skills and proper phone etiquette.
Education and Experience A high school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry are highly desirable.
Physical/Work Environment:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and reach.
Ability to perform all job functions safely and efficiently, consistent with safety policies and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
