Plant runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Must be able to work rotating shifts that require fluctuation between day and night shifts every 4 weeks (4:
30 am to 3:
00 pm and 4:
30 pm to 3:
00 am).
Shift differential of $.
85 /hour added when working the night shift.
Only candidates willing to work rotating night shifts will be considered for a position.
Must be willing and physically able to work general labor duties as needed when not performing duties of regular position.
All positions will begin through a temporary agency for the 1st 30 days.
Those who succeed in their position will become Pacific Clay employees and a member of the United Steelworkers Union.
Training will be provided but must have basic mechanical aptitude.

Operates the pug mill and other equipment required to produce a uniform column of clay for the setting machine.
Makes required process controls to maintain dimensions, quality and uniformity.
Operates related equipment such as augers and belt feeders.
May operate forklift.
May perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment.
Required to provide own basic tools.
Successful candidate must submit to a post offer pre-employment physical exam, drug screen and background check.
